We moved to the Swan Valley in 1964 to work at Diamond L Bar Ranch (Laird's Lodge) for Dick Hickey. After leaving there my husband worked at the Condon R.S. (Work Center) for 21 years. I still visit the Swan almost every year. Great memories.

I worked alot in the Swan, favorite job was burning slash piles for Clearwater forestry...

Moved to the Swan in 1996. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking. The last best place. Being spoiled by money now.

Yes it is so sad I grew up there very early 60s sad what's happening now with all the money and disregard for beautiful Mother Earth and Father Sky.✌️♥️🫵

Swan Valley. Amazing. The land is abundant with Sasquatch, so respect their space when you wander off into the Mission Valley Wilderness and Bob Marshall Wilderness. You do NOT want to experience a 10 foot tall 900 pound wildman in your camp. OR at least bring several pairs of underwear.

Having been raised in the flathead valley im very familiar with Swan Valley. Montana has always been home.
