I've got some OG Douglas fir flooring I pulled from my dad's childhood home. This stuff has 60+ growth rings in 3/4's of an inch; hard as a rock; cut over a hundred years ago from the outside of big firs that had essentially stopped growing. Maybe the guys you used on your project can sand it for me, clean it up for reuse.

You can get a lock miter router bit that produces the same joint. Most of them will have a maximum capacity of 3/4, and they are very fiddly to set up on a router table, but you can get great results. I've done box beams, stair treads and columns using the same bit.
