Great job on the tutorial, your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I've made a few shamballa bracelets, and now I'm excited to try making the Chan Luu style. Thanks!

We usually use opposing colors so that the viewer can see the thread... yes if you want the thread to blend then you would want to choose a color that more closely matches the larger leather/cotton etc.

Thanks so much! I have these same beautiful pearl beads & am very familiar with working with those teeny tiny beading holes, so your video really helped me avoid lots of frustrating trial & error! One thing though, what kind of glue do you use at the end of the bracelet, at the end of the video? Thanks again! By the way, I completely understand why you used a contrasting color thread to the cord in this tutorial video, so the viewer can more easily see the process.

Hi JH! You may use E6000 Adhesive for your glue please see link below. www.potomacbeads.com/E6000-Adhesive-18-Fl-oz-p/2935.htm We are thrilled that you are enjoying this tutorial.

Would it be okay to use E6000 glue instead of hypo cement or super glue? Is one better than the other? I'll be working with leather and nylon cords. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Hi, trying to get ALL Products used to make this project. i don't see the blue green beads anywhere on here? Did I miss something? Thank you!!

Good video. Just wish the finality of the bracelet would've been shown. For instance, actually showing how to apply the glue/which type of glue is best for this project and how to make the loop at the other end so the button will fasten correctly.

Also..one more thing. the thread, what size did you know use in this project, I was going for the Grey, but see they are all different sizes

This is helpful for sure. Thank you. What I am wondering is how to measure for long wrap bracelets for all different wrist sizes. Is there a formula of measurement to go by that you can use as guide? It would be great to know how much length is needed for double wraps triple wraps and even four times wraps. There must be some formula...please share if you do have this as it would be greatly appreciated.
@madisenbourland46535 жыл бұрын
Colleenbtd Colleenbtd Hope you found an answer sooner but if not here’s instructions: Measure wrist loosely and add 1 inch to get your “wrap size.” The formula is Wrap size x number of wraps x 2. Add an extra 10 inches or so for the button and knots. Hope this makes sense. Found this online. Idk if the video owner wants me to post a link.

Yes you can use it, though because of the risk of fraying, you might want to condition it first.

The one you made isn't the one showing as your still pic is it?

Hi Delilah, no, they're both different. I was just using beads with small holes to show what you can make with them, especially when you only have a few odd beads and you don't know what to make.

Do you find that the cotton cording is stronger than the silk thread? I gave my friends wrap bracelets and they told me that broe and I'm wondering if its because I used silk cord instead and I used leather cording.
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
+Vanessa Rosa it is probably a bit stronger. Remember though that the silk cording has a lot of different thicknesses, so you could probably opt for a thicker silk cording as well. The types of beads you are wrapping could also have something tto do with how easily it might break, especially if they are crystals, or something known to shred thread.
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
Not for cotton, we use what we have available here: www.potomacbeads.com/Cotton-Cording-s/2507.htm For silk, we use Griffin: www.potomacbeads.com/Silk-s/2519.htm

I got Wildfire black .008 in (.2 mm) "thermally bonded bead weaving thread" but cannot get it threaded on a #10 Pony needle. Using a threading helper didn't work, the thread started coming apart. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
