Awesome video! I just opened an Ally savings account because I found out that they allow you to have o e savings account and categorize the money in there within buckets! It’s worth a look, at the time of this comment the savings rate was at 4.3% as well.

Question - do you still track the specking for items in the variable spending envelopes? For me that is the most time consuming. I usually just get the totals at the end of the period if there is any money left over in the envelopes which I then apply to savings challenges

I am sorry for the loss of your pets but part of this is confusing. You say you don't save from your savings used but you saved from your Valentines savings $31 and didn't include that $31 in your income on your Debt & Savings Breakdown worksheet to balance them out. It seems you would have included that as part of your Income on that sheet. Everything else was good. I am just confused with that one part...Thank You for posting...

On the debt and savings worksheet, Miko switches from using "Total Monthly Inflow" to using "Total Monthly Income". That way she can see what percentage of her actual income is being used. This part confuses me and I have to remind myself to use the different amounts here, to get a true representation of if I'm saving new funds or just resaving old funds. 🙂

Can you do a video for people like myself that don't use cash. I use my credit cards to pay for everything and pay the balance off monthly. What's the most accurate way to use the budget by paycheck when you're not using cash?

You can go to her website and search for cashless budgeting. She has a cashless spending tracker that you can use instead of cash envelopes. I don't use cash as well and her budget by paycheck method still works for me. I just track it differently 😊

@tamekap7114 that's easy instead of using an expense tracker for cash just use one for your credit card spending 😊 every transaction you buy with that card write it down on your expense tracker and highlight your categories like blue for groceries and pink for spending 🙂 and if you pay your credit card back you call it under transaction 'credit card payment' and under category 'transfer' and put a line through it so you don't count it double because you already did that part to know how much you spent in each category 🙂 hope this helps 🤗

Great reminders of what to account for, and why. I'm not gonna lie, I've been slacking off on completing my WDMMG worksheets. Today, I'm actually working on getting mine completely filled in. Then, I'll be able to fill out the yearly spending overview worksheet. These sheets give us a snapshot of exactly what our life was like financially, at any given time. 😉 We had a lot of personal spending in January. In February, we gave some gifts and we went on vacation to see family. In March, we have extra donations and will travel more, so our gas budget is slightly increased. Note: When we're on vacation, many of our budget categories are lowered like our utilities, groceries, gas and eating out. I don't break down our vacation expenses UNLESS there is a repeat itinerary needed in the future like a repeat family camping trip where the amount needed is the same with a variation for food. 💙💜💙 💙💜💙 💙💜💙

Have you ever done a video for women or people who live in a moderate to high crime area on how to properly use and execute your cash envelope systems without fear of losing cash in case of a burglary or a home robbery? Maybe even for your customers that are living on college campuses where their residence isn’t so secured or maybe if he roommates? If you haven’t done a video maybe you should do one. Thanks. (well also the positive from your teachings that doing your program will hopefully allow your customers/students to save up enough money, and or get a higher paying job that will allow them to move to a better less crime city. Just an idea. On the sinking funds that I can't use cash, I track the money on index cards (like the ones she is using on the back on each envelope). I write down the amount I add to the envelope but I don't stuff it with cash. When I make a purchase or a deposit, I write on envelope and keep a running total. That way you don't have cash in envelopes. I go through my online purchase every day or two to make sure everything is tracked.
