This is beautiful. Do you think it would work with something smaller than the Wendy? I still think it would make me look like the Purple Pieman from Strawberry Shortcake...

Hm... Not sure who the purple pie man is, but the Wendy is easily shapeable in many different ways... It's all about how much stuffing you leave inside, how it's positioned on your head and what type of style wrap you're wearing. We've never seen it actually look like a chef's hat once a scarf is wrapped over it! As for this style, it definitely would work with smaller volume, but would change the way the finished result looks a bit. The bow would need to be wrapped closer to your face to stay up, which could look lovely, as well. If you try it like that, definitely let us know how it goes!

I can't wear the shimmeries next to my skin, they make me itch like crazy, I have to make sure I only put them as layers which only touch other scarves. Which is a shame because I love them.

This style might be able to work for you, Zoe! A few pins could easily keep the tails/fringe out of the way or you could tuck them away entirely. If you try it, definitely let us know how it goes! :)

(Rachel, here) I did use a fully stuffed Wendy in this tutorial. My hair is very short, though, so the volume you see is pretty much just the stuffing. If you have a bit of hair, that will create a more voluminous look! Different head shapes can affect the final result, as well. You might try removing a bit of the stuffing to find a size that's most comfortable for you. :)
