Fun little episode: the assistance workers of the original manga were complaining that the tanks were such a pain to draw. The author Arakawa replied to them "Bradley's gonna bust that tank!" and the assistants cheered for Bradley.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Bradley doesn’t regenerate like the other homunculi right? I believe up to this point in the show Bradley hasn’t taken a single hit from anyone so we can’t say for sure. He said after the stone transformed his body he just had a single soul left, along with the powers the stone face gave his body and they need the souls to regenerate. While Greed was created in a similar way, since Ling accepted Greed without a struggle he didn’t deplete all the souls in that stone.

SPOILERS! . . . . . . . . . Hiromu Arakawa has stated that, were Bradley/Wrath in his prime during the events of the Promised Day, Father would have won. Wrath would have been too strong for anyone to overcome.

Bradley is such a great bad guy. All the homunculi have cool abilities or defining characteristics. Lust has the "spear" (her nails), Greed his "shield", Gluttony his fake portal, Envy his ability to turn into anyone or anything, Sloth his extreme speed and strength, and Pride has his shadows. But Wrath's ultimate ability is his eye. He can see anything, but all of his combat skills are things he obtained through actual training.

HOLY SHIT! I've never actually realised this on so many re-watches of this show. Hoenheim and father are considered gods. Hoenheim listening to all of the souls is like god listening to the prayers of a swirling sea of voices (us on earth). Not sure if that's intentional but that's what I'm getting from this at 4:43.

In universe they are, they are the dragons of the West and East. The temple in the town of Reole with Father Cornello, the ''Church of Leto'' worships Father whereas in Xing they worship or give grattatitude to the man from the west, Hoenheim. In style their attacks invoke two dragons in this very episode, each having a west and east theme to them.

I always root for bradley, the dude is so cool. Imo the most dangerous homunculus, I get why they gave him both old age and only one life, because without that nerf Bradley would essentially be unstoppable. I think the author even stated this, a young Bradley, even with only one life, would have been unstoppable for any of the good guys.

Honestly the only episodes I'd say were "bad" were the beginning ones due to how rushed they were.

@@angramainyu9220 i don't call them bad more like rushed a little bit with assumption that you've already seen the 03 version (i had). But some parts (i don't even know if they were canon in the manga) like mustang vs Edward ، dirty Side of ironblood alchemist(browned skin brigadier general), the way they met dr. Marcoh and major Armstrong, barry tricking Alphonse, original lior arc(was 3 episodes i think), childhood and pre Edward being a state alchemist episodes , them meeting huges in train,barry kidnapping winery as a human before execution, tucker and nina , yoki and mining town episode were either cut or really shortened and huges death was more impactful in the 03 as well(one of the tree deaths i heavily cried on) Still Brother hood is still my much more prefered version but i loved the original one as well. U wished there would be a master version where they shove early episodes of original and episodes 12 and onward from the brotherhood to make the ultimate anime.

Bradley has the Ultimate Eye, that's his homunculus power. He can basically see in super speed and weak points. His survival makes perfect sense given his power.

It's left kinda vague. At the very least Wrath found something he liked about her more than other women. I still think Pride was more fond of playing house with her though; we don't get anything more from Wrath than "she's the woman I chose" while Pride actually reflects on his time with her with a hint of fondness. It would make sense as well since Wrath was busy leading a country, so he probably had a lot less time to play house and get attached than Pride would have.

Methinks it's more of a personal thing with Wrath. As he points out several times. She was something Bradley himself chose. Consider what that means to a guy who has had everything else chosen for him. His name, his job, all of it. Even whom he kills or doesn't kill is largely dictated by the needs of his job, working for Father.

He's well above normal human levels, think more like Captain America. I also don't think a "normal human" could take on a fully armored tank and not even be winded, let alone uninjured.

I always interpreted Buccaneer as saying that Falman was going to have a more manly death, and I assumed it was because he stood his ground despite being terrified. “No way you’re going to have a more manly death than I am” like he was competing with him or something. It is great to see new viewers' attitudes toward these characters evolve. I like a lot of "Hohenheim Of Light" from the 2003 adaptation even better than this one. One of the funny bits is his "date" with Maria Ross on the Rockbells' front porch. That's where the boys have their reunion with him in that series.
