Not that anyone's asking, but the actor for Sanji - his name is Taz Skylar, his dad's Lebanese and his mum's English (specifically from Yorkshire which is in Northern England) but he was born in and grew up in the Canary Islands in Spain, so he speaks Spanish and English fluently and the jury's out on whether that makes him English, Spanish or Lebanese, but I think he has both English and Spanish citizenship. He took both kickboxing classes and cooking classes for this show.

The live action adaptation made me want to watch the anime and I'm now on episode 394, best decision I've ever made! While watching this I was interested in the fact that every actor was basically unknown and then I saw Garp. Garp was played by Vincent Regan who played The Captain to King Leonidas in the movie 300.

Wow i may end up watching this it was so well done. I never thought a Movie version of a series could be even that good. Mihawk still being done cool like the anime made it work too and glad they did the lil knife thing. He and Luffy bothed earned his respect by their will and tenacity. This was so well done and ppl kept trying to get me to watch and i said no way its not possible it can't be done. If the show stays like this i will watch it. Man, Garp is so unlucky as to how almost everyone he trains or raises or mentors ends up becoming a criminal. His son became the greatest threat to the Marines and WG. His grandsons both became pirates. His apprentice and protege left the Marines and joined the Pirates. Only one still sticking by his side is Koby. And Helmeppo. And that's mainly because Koby's dream was to be a Marine, and Helmeppo is too wimpy to be a pirate.

I am stunned, honestly stunned at how amazing the acting is in this Live Action adaptation! I mean, all too often, when Hollywood turns fanfavorite books and novels into Movies, they end up pissing off half the fan base by choosing the wrong actor for key roles... But not here! I am genuinely impressed with the ENTIRE CAST! THE ENTIRE CAST! Great casting and some genuinely terrific performances. You can tell that every actor is taking this very seriously, and the result is a massive hit!

Everytime I see especially Zorro drink, I have to remind myself of their age. He is 19 here, like Sanji. Usopp is 17, just like Luffy. And Nami is 18.

In most of the world drinking is allowed at 18. in Germany you’re allowed to drink beer at 16. I’m pretty sure they start drinking early in Japan too.

@@schmamsch5992 I meant that in the way of: Zorro for example met Klahadore 3 years ago in a bar, pretty sure he drank way before that. He lost Kuina at 12, so maybe he started there. Nami probably also started pretty young, being part of the Arlong Pirates from a young age. Usopp probably hasnt been drunk that often, before overdoing it at Baratie. (because he doesnt understand that the sugary drinks are preeetty heavy and therefor overdoes it, the rest doesn't, they know their limit and it is much higher than his. Execpt Luffy - he isnt that much of a drinker.) Sanji started smoking pretty young and probably at least drank wine at a younger age as well.
