WRC (5) Rally Evolved - New Zealand is pretty damn fast rally w/ mid-stage rain - PS2@PCSX2 - 1440p

Last WRC game from Evolution Studios on PS2 is very good!! This time cars are little bit lighter, but physics model is more advanced, you can tell that RBR was released a year before and inspiration is quite clear, developers moved towards simulation. Gameplay is very satisfactory and i had to drop chasecam, i cant control the car from the outside anymore. Like in RBR cars have great acceleration and are really fast, balance was shifted more towards a need to tame the car and keep it on the road. The only drawback is that there are only 3 stages per country (not even inverted versions) and most of them are recycled (AND shortened) from WRC 4 ;[ On the other hand we have a lot of cars, including legendary Group B monsters, many events in the championship etc. It`s almost like the game was pushed out because of a deadline or something (WRC 4 seemed to be a little more refined in details and graphics as a whole) but the core is there and driving the car is awesome, best so far!!.
My settings in PCSX2:
Actually i didnt change much in PCSX2 settings. I`m using nightly builds and its great. I`ve changed:
1. Resolution to 4x Native ~1440p (which is my monitor).
2. Anisotropic filtering OFF (or x2, i like that tiny graining, feels more consol -ish ;}).
3. Shade Boost in Post-Procesing tab ON with 58-54-56 (depends on stage).
Everything else is pretty much default.

Awesome run in my home country! I don't know if you saw my reply on your last video but if you end up racing the Historics or the S1600s I've been working on a realism texture pack for PCSX2 that changes the liveries to look more like their real-life counterparts than the watered down versions used for the game. I'd be really interested to know what you think of it if that sound like something you'd be keen to try out.
