Those idiots are security people, like doormen at a nightclub. They were hired to help the regular marshals keep everything under control. But it much rather went out of control, when they turned up.

I don't think it's the new rule that prevents the spectators to help the competitors. Maybe it's just those stupid marshal 😐 . Spectators helping the competitors to get out of something has been a traditional in rallying. It's a shame that the organisers have that kind of marshal..

In Ireland the marshals would call the spectators to help clear the car off the stage while they went further up the road to slow the cars.Common sense can go a long way. Those marshals should be ashamed..

Actually, I think what was on the minds of the marshals was:- 1) How far behind was the next competitor? (ie were any of these nutters going to get run over?) 2) Is the car damaged in any way? (ie are any of these nutters going to get blown up along with the car?) Once they found out that OK, the next competitor is miles back and no, there isn't a fuel leak that's going to toast anyone whose family members will sue the organisers for negligence, they thought OK, we'll let the spectators help out.

I ´m also working as a security guard and what they do is not allowed specially in the rude way they do. You can´t touch anybody who just wants to help. I would sue their ass. That is so typical german. No wonder why nobody else on the world likes us.

Those marshals are really aggressive and don't understand the rally tradition of spectators helping stuck cars... yes, safety is important but they could have just watched over the process and warn people of incoming cars.

ScoopGerman Ich hab den job als Marshal auch ne weile gemacht allerdings his der marshal zu meiner zeit noch Sportwart wir hatten die aufgabe mit flaggen rot und gelb den Pfarrern optische signale zu geben wen was passierte wen dann aber ein auto wie hier abgekommen ist haben sogar wir mit angepackt das die kiste wida auf die pisste kommt, ich hab den job gerne gemacht weils nen hobby war und ich dies art von motorsport einfach mag, so was wie hier gabs nie allerdings muss ich sagen das die regeln ab 2014 der heutigen Veranstaltungen extrem angehoben wurden dazu gehört leider auch das abhalten der zuschauer wie in diesem video zu sehen die reaktion des einen Marshal war leider nicht angebracht und wird von veranstaltern wo dies rennen organisieren nicht gerne gesehen da kann der Verein wo die Marshal Arbeit übernimmt mit pech nicht mehr gebucht werden

I strongly support the fans and the drivers safety because it is a very dangerous sport, but images like that are a shame. There is a main reason because the rally is so intense, unlike other supports, here the fans actually make a role and it is very important for the drivers and for the sport in overall. With caution, I support that people help the drivers in situation like that! I bet there isn't any motosport company like VW, Citroen, Ford, etc, that wants to spend so much money if there isn't passionate crowd of fans!

The marshals at the car stuck in the ditch (11. mins) are being totally out of order, the best thing for them to do would of been warn cars coming into that section of corners to slow down. Competitors spend massive amounts of money to get to get to these events, and for the marshals to take it upon them selves to potentially ruin a good result for a crew by stopping people from helping get the car out again is absolutely ridiculous! There was clearly no damage to the car at all as it was simply stuck in a muddy ditch!

That tyrannical behaviour by the safety marshals at 11:00 is an obscenity. Totally destroying the spirit of rallying. A quick push from a few spectators can mean the difference between losing and winning a rally - it's always been that way. If the car was on fire or something, I might understand, but it wasn't..
