as an american getting into wrc in 2001, i was introduced to michèle through an old speedvision archival clip show called 'legends of motorsport' which dedicated an episode to her. it's amazing and kind of sad that she is _still_ the most successful woman in wrc

Always appreciated Michele's insights from her unique perspective: -Her adoption of a "Man Mentality", meaning speed derived from ZERO regard for one's own mortality. She suggested that if she didn't adopt this mentality, she would never have pierced through to become a multi-event winner.
