Wreck-It Ralph Arcade Machine D23 Disney Expo 2011

The next movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios will be Wreck-It Ralph. I watched the first four minutes in the Walt Disney Studios panel (which included this video game-esque footage), and it looks hilarious.

they did on disney's official site of the movie. you fix windows, dodge bricks, collect pies, and more obstacles are put in the way the further you climb the building.

The designs used in this promo game are earlier versions that were later changed in the actual movie. For example Felix doesn't wear overalls in the movie, and the building in the movie is slightly different with landscaping and whatnot. *Felix was inspired by Super Mario

The introduction of the film, is based on the prototype of the game Fix-it-Felix jr.

Hmmm.. This is a FFJr Prototype. It Has a namco Style Cabinet, Wrong bezel, Very early Graphics..

Yep, it’s a early version all right, but it seems to be a playable alpha, if it was a beta, Ralph would have a yeti-like body. The game really took a lot of inspiration from DK.

@TheITinFIT Yeah. I watched the first five minutes of the movie at that Disney Studios panel, and I really felt for the guy. It just looks like a funny yet heart-touching story. For gamers, at least. Mileage may vary for those not into gaming.

I can confirm that those that were wondering 'did they create an IRL version of 'Fix-It Felix?' that they sure did, disney dot go dot com it's in their games section... it really feels like a classic game that would've been out circa 1982... don't think there's any in-between cutscenes though, unless I didn't get far enough in.
