its actually insane that they were able to port an essentially unaltered version of the game to mobile. the pc version is pretty well optimized to begin with, but the level of optimization necessary for this to run on your phone is just a different level.

The second I heard it was on mobile I had to buy it! How did I not know until yesterday??? With maxed out settings on my Fold 4, it looks gorgeous! Ran at no FPS limit on ultra and runs smooth like a dream! Still have to test the Xbox controller support. Was blown away to see a full console quality game on a phone.

@Johnny depending on your phone it runs perfectly you can set the frames to 30, 60 and MAX I have a galaxy note 9 and it can smoothly run 30fps the dirt can get on the cars over time its the most underrated mobile game i've ever played

The first sentence in this video (0:00) described perfect how i did feel as well. I follow this game since 2014 when the first "Next Car Game" Demo dropped. But i never had a system that can run the main game. So i nearly lost it when i did hear they are planning a Mobile Version. Well and here we are. And it is way better than i ever hoped. Your video gives a very good view how the game looks. I just hope this mobile port gets more attention in the future. Cause i have the feeling its kind of under the radar and not many people know this dose even exist. What is a shame, cause its such a grate work from the developers.

The game currently only supports LAN multiplayer. Hopefully they implement online multiplayer in the future.

I'm just finding out about this and I bought it immediately! Very smooth gameplay and graphically looks incredible on my phone with ultra settings. I can't believe I have this on my phone!

If you forget used to be a console game called FlatOut which was the exact same thing except your character flew out of the windshield when hitting something hard.

I also hope they will make a way to connect your account from whatever console or pc and that way you can have all the vehicles that you’ve already purchased/ unlocked Example being Linking your PlayStation account and having all your stats with it

Honestly this is what mobile games should have been aiming for from the start. Nice and good games that you pay once and maybe pay a little more for extra things. Is such a shame to see the state of the current mobile games market, but hey, at least we get great gems like this one for mobile.

since it's a (cheap) paid mobile game but still has in-app purchases, I would love to hear about the micro transactions aspect as well. If everything is locked behind the paywall except a few basic cars and tracks then it's not worth the time.

They both have very different game modes. Grid is more focused towards racing. Their gameplay is quite different I recommend going for both if you can. Wreckfest really needs online multiplayer as wrecking other people's cars are a lot more fun then wrecking AI cars. We'll just have to wait and see if they introduce it later on. Unfortunately Grid won't be getting multiplayer.
