One of my Hero's. I used to visit his brothers guitar store in Chino Valley AZ oh so many years ago now. Great memories.

Such class and pure enjoyment all these people gave us and few people knew who they were and all they did.

Denny, your dad was one of a kind. Truly, he was an American Treasure. I wish I could have met him. He always seemed so approachable despite the fact he was a the top of the music world. Thank you for sharing more videos of TT!

I wonder how many licks I've learned over the years that I thought were somebody else's when they were really Tommy Tedesco licks?

I was at MI in 1987. TT at student orientation was one of the high points.

Ole! Started out Spanish and finished off with jazzy chords Why do you use a pick? I don't have a shovel! Classic👏🏿😂🎸

Hey hipster cool guy, arbiter of classiness. It sounds you are being disrespectful of people who play classical music. Of people who aren't like you, or who don't do whatever it is you do, the way you do it. "Smackin' down." Hey hipster Dale Turner- what kind of language is that? You are nothing like Tedesco.. If you are such a great musician, a working musician like Tedesco, you know as in all genres across the board many if not most classical musicians are playing through chronic tendon pain, often with nerve damage firing up and down the arms that never gets better, working in lousy orchestras with crappy benefits or no benefits, sometimes teaching kids who don't care, doing one-off recordings with no royalties--all to just try and make a living doing what they love, presumably just like you: making music. But you are the one who sounds like a snob, and you reveal yourself in a public forum for eternity to be pretty mean.

TT - an American treasure. Use every trick you learn as many times you can without sounding like it's the only thing you know and quote as many songs you know. That seemed to be the mantra Tommy lived by; and successfully, I might add.

Holy shit this guy is good. I want to be that good, I would estimate at 21 years old, I’m at about 60% of his skill level. I can’t connect my ideas as fluidly as he does. It just flows out of him.

Okay? I believe the point he was making was that Spanish, Flamenco or whatever… He plays what fits the song and that’s why he’s been so successful.
