@@dronepilot260rcthat is not true.. Qualified immunity is a legal doctrine that protects government officials, including police officers, from personal liability for violating a person's constitutional rights. The doctrine is generally available if the law violated was not "clearly established" at the time of the officer's actions. Here are some key points about qualified immunity: When it applies Qualified immunity applies when a government official violates a law that was not "clearly established" at the time. This means that the legal standards were not clear enough for a reasonable official to know that their actions were unlawful. When it doesn't apply If qualified immunity doesn't apply, the government employee or official is technically responsible for money damages, but the government entity usually pays. How it's been used Qualified immunity has been used to protect officers accused of misconduct, including excessive use of force and fatal shootings. Criticism Qualified immunity has been criticized as "unqualified impunity" because it can prevent people from obtaining monetary damages that could compensate them for their injuries. State reforms Since the murder of George Floyd, six states and New York City have limited or banned qualified immunity for police officers.

No one deserves this, even if he really was a "bad" person. And forgive me for saying so, but the way you describe your child indicates that you raised him in a middle class family. You're right that your boy is less likely to commit crime, but a lot of that comes from being afforded opportunities that "lifelong criminals" don't get. He does not experience temptations the way a poor person does - he'll never see an unattended cell phone and think "I could get a couple hundred dollars for that." Why weren’t their riots around this incident? It’s far more disturbing than the George Floyd case

Totally agree. This man did nothing wrong yet beaten to death while calling out for his Mom. 😢

Because the Police Chief acted expeditiously and FIRED & ARRESTED the thugs involved. There was no need to riot in this case!!

WATCHOUT!!! This is madeup story!! Clearly It is calculated (plea deal) to evade serious charges that resulted in death! He is being portrayed as the killer in order to save the other cops from death charges. And since he took a plea deal, he will be saved from long prison sentence and possibly get leniency at sentencing! Basically they are all saved from death charges!!! Another dirty trick police is playing inorder to evade accountability! And it goes like this; Since this killer cop has testified that he is the one that caused death, they will urgue to drop the murder charges on the other officers which leaves them with simple assault and battery charges. If found guilty of those lesser crimes the sentences are not that long! In addition, if they get credit for time in jail before trial, they could all be walking home at sentensing!

Meanwhile Trump's pushing for Full Qualified Immunity for all Police - so even if they do this Heinous sh# they can brush it off as Qualified Immunity under the "law" .

I saw two guys walking across the motel parking lot one evening. I was suspicious... glared at them. They walked up to the open door of my motel room and said, "LET'S SEE SOME I.D.!" I reached for my wallet, said, ""Why do you want to..." and one guy reached in my room, grabbed my coat collar and yanked me out! "Are you cops!?" I asked. One pulled an RCMP badge out. I placed a curse on them in the name of Jesus Christ. They walked away. They confronted me because I glared. Terry, the manager, said, "You're lucky you didn't resist!"
