A woman is dead after police say she was attacked by two dogs in Bolivar early Monday morning.

Always the same breed of dogs...so tired of hearing about people losing their lives in such a horrible way behind this breed. I've personally been attacked by 3 Pitbulls at the same time and they came from a loving home and didn't even have their tails snipped and were not trained to attack etc, but hence out of the blue they attacked and the owner couldn't get control of them and all her commands went on dead ears. The attack started outside and ended up inside her kitchen with all her kitchen tore apart, broken furniture, brooms, etc and they would not stop. There is something within this breed that is just in it not to be trusted. I also have a relative whose Pit turned on her after 7 years and ripped her arm wide open for no reason and it broke her heart to get rid of him😢 Sending prayers to the family 🙏🏽 😢

I am so sorry that you had to endure that horrible attack and I agree with your comment 100%. I also will never ever trust a pit bull type or pit bull mix dog. All of my encounters with pit bull dogs have been very bad. Including a attack by my cousin's pit bull names Cindy. I ended up with 30 stiches on my leg after my cousin told me just before the attack the his dog was so sweet and harmless. So now I refuse to visit anyone who has a pit bull type dog. And If you have not noticed 75% to 90% of dog over crowded in the animal shelter are pit bull type and pit bull mixes. No wonder why so many people are adopting them because there are so few other types of dogs to choose from. Plus the animal shelters push the lie about how safe they are.

@douglassmith2989 Thank you and I absolutely agree with you. Also the owner of the dogs I was attacked by would say the same about her dogs as well..how sweet and harmless they are. Listen any animal, that has teeth can be of danger. Cute cuddly or sweet.

when you breed a yorkie you get maybe one or 2 pups. when you breed a pit you get 10 - 14 pups, then no one wants them so they let em go

Scary!!!!! And if that's not bad enough, these back yard breeders are producing these dogs into high gear and the animal shelters are over crowded with 75% to 90% pit bull type and pit bull mix dogs.

@@tammydillard2509 your xl is great around you but I have found that most dogs are not so great around people they don't know and the owner is not around. And for a pit bull type dog when they snap they are too powerful to stop

Why wont the goverment ban pitbulls breeding or their mixes like american bullies etc.? All the reports are about pits attack or pitbull mixes.

I'm pretty sure pitbulls and pit mixes are not legal in Tennessee, I'm still new to Tennessee so I am still learning about restrictions on these things...
