Ths deck is 🔥🔥🔥 My first game was vs a Tinybones player. You could almost feel their frustration as their discard spells did literally nothing to me as everything just got played from the graveyard and the -2 on Wrenn made sure I always had something in hand. My 2nd game was vs Liliana of the Veil. Once again they quickly realized that their discard+removal tribal deck was completely useless vs the -7 emblem.

Wrenn was the basis of my most memorable historic brawl win ever. Got wren to ultimate vs a flipped Atali, held on for so long with the recursion value, 9 poisen, 2 life and then. Just took over the board state. Best comeback ever.

I love Wrenn and Realmbreaker! Her recursion works really well in other mono green decks that otherwise get out valued by control centric decks. If they don't have a way to deal with it, it provides ample haste damage from the lands you don't use and you put continual pressure on oppo to do something about it or risk a cityscape leveler that never goes away. It's glorious :D

Is it me or Verdant Rejuvenation is bugged? The text says "permanents that costs X or less of the highest creature you have on the field", and yet the dude at 15:40 summons a Craterhoof with it, when clearly didnt have 8 mana as highest creature on the field...

It says "Seek X creatures, enchantments...etc", it doesn't care about the Mana Costs of the seeked permanents. It's working as intended: it's just that as intended is boring and shittily designed. I don't care if this card costs 8 mana, I've never seen it whiff and it's almost always game ending. It's such a boring way to essentially end the game, and I hate that card with a burning passion so much.

I’m hoping you did yourself the favor of going back and actually reading the card. That’s not what Verdant Rejuvenation says 😂 But I can see why some people would misread it like that. The distinction between what you said and what the card actually says is small, but makes all the difference in terms of how the card would work.
