Remember how in SmackDown Just Bring It, there was a little camera that were appear, when a wrestler would interfere? 2K could use that for Royal Rumble entrances! If they don't want to fix the camera on the stage, then this would be a pretty nice alternative. 👍

Are you talking about the camera pointing to the stage? If so, it was announced that they will bring it back to royal rumble for 2K24 this year

One feature I really dislike is announce table finishers. I miss the days when you could climb on the table and do almost anymove to put someone through it. Now you're restricted to certain moves instead. Hopefully they change that in future games.

I think another one not mentioned by this video is the removal of the 40 man rumble option after 2K14. Especially with the new and improved rumble mechanics we've seen since 2K18, not having the option to have 40 or 50 participants especially considering the Greatest Royal Rumble happened in 2019 and had 50 participants is sad. I love the rumbles in the recent games and it's my favorite version of the match type in any game, but my biggest complaint is 30 participants often can feel too small or short. Having 40 or 50 as an option would be great, especially if when PS4 and Xbox One is dropped we maybe see up to 10 people in a ring at once, now that would be epic.

Getting rid of the hardcore match was not the best decision in my book. it would of had the best insane ways to settle win for years to come.

Whenever the developers remove features that received no complaints and only praise, it is absolutely confusing and makes me wonder what is the mentality when developing these games. These are video games at the end of the day. We are supposed to have fun with them, and whenever these fun elements were removed, it does take away some of the fun factor. It sucks that the developers can’t stick with the “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” motto, and instead make weird changes every year that fans never asked for. Here’s hoping we get some consistency starting from 24 and afterwards.🤞🙏

Ikr like more people would get more enjoyment and more would be more willing to pay money for their games if they just kept the innovations they made in earlier entries in the series. It’s almost like developers these days have their mentalities backwards these days.

The saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” doesn’t work for sports games since you can make small or big changes to improve certain modes (not to mention that they’re usually yearly releases and people are going to complain that it’s the same game) Take for example the SvR2011 version of Road to WrestleMania with its free roam and Time Machine

Biggest thing they have to change is the SPEED of the game. It's like playing in quicksand compared to the early Smackdown games. They were utterly chaotic because of how fast everything was. They also need to bring back more specific-to-a-wrestler moves, where the animations are 100% easy to tell whose version of the move you're doing. Examples include Brocks clothesline (the iconic on from HCTP) or Faarooq's spinebuster.

I loved it when back in the day for falls count anywhere, you could fight down town. Then it went from being reduced to only being able to go in the back, and now reduced to only being in limited areas in the main arena.

Yeah they brought back backstage fighting in hardcore matches in 2K17, but the only game I got it to work was 2K18, I can't figure out how the hell I'm supposed to do it in 2K22 and 2K23, so I'd assumed that they removed it again, despite the promt trigger actually being in those games when creating a custom arena.

At this point, thing still shocking me is we still have turn blood on option still. Why haven't they removed blood. Heck am I mistaken or was svr2010 the last game we could even do team elimination chamber? That along with I quit matches and spc ref I do miss. I may be messed up for this lol but also loved the freedom of intergender matches from svr2009 and before.

The Special ref should come back. Without getting removed after awhile. That is where I had a lot of fun. Also made some new feuds and ect. Also make some of my buddies mad by starting to beat the crap out of them if I want the other one to win. Or will just also beat the crap out of the Computers. Will also make any type of match a bloodbath or a very cool match.
