I can't believe I got to meet Keiji Mutoh about 10 years ago at a local indie show. We were treated to a match between Seiya Sanada and Renee Dupree for a GHC title of some kind. We had to take our chance after the show and stop him on his way out of the building for a moment, thanking him for coming all this way and telling him how much we loved and respected him. Bianca is nowhere near John Cena. John Cena actually has charisma, talent and drew money, lol. Bianca is a massively forced push. She's more akin to early Roman Reigns (not current Roman Reigns), except the crowd doesn't care about the womens division enough to just outright turn on her.

Makes her own gear, is a beast in the ring, and can look like a million bucks on TV talk shows or wherever she is asked to go. She does Tennessee proud. She also put Asuka over at the end of her post-WrestleMania press conference, much like Ric Flair spent half of his induction speech for the Great Muta putting Asuka over as one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers to ever step through the ropes. The Empress didn't have a bad weekend despite the loss, is what I'm saying. Some really cool moments.

@@themanthemyththebanger Oh, she said some empty words about Asuka. That totally excuses Asuka being 0-5 at WrestleMania. I don't care about words. Triple H has said empty words about Asuka too, but where is the respect? Actions speak louder than words is a phrase for a reason. If you respect somebody, they're not 0-5 at WrestleMania, and 0-3 in world title matches. She deserves to have at least one legendary moment, and it's not coming. This was her last, serious, real chance to have a win that would be legacy defining. And then, not only did they deny her her major WrestleMania win, her last serious chance for a major win at WrestleMania, a win that would actually matter and have some consequence to it, not just some low card tag match, which is all she'll get, they killed her new character. That new character has no effectiveness now, the fear is gone. Not only that, she then wasn't on Raw the next night. They couldn't even put her on Raw, that shows you the future plans they have for her. Nothing. Then they tease unifying the titles with Ripley and Bianca. If they do that, Asuka will never get the title for another day, much less at WrestleMania. But hey, I guess that's ok. Bianca can be the champion for 3 years uninterrupted because she's from your state..... 🙄 Bianca does not need to be the champion for a god damn year. That's overkill for anyone, especially somebody this bland and unremarkable. Her reign has been bad from beginning to end, she's run through every opponent, killed Asuka's new character, and it was necessary to do this.....to set up a match in a year, at WrestleMania 40 for a unified title that will negatively affect the whole roster but her?

As someone else said in these comments, at the end of her career the wins and losses really won't be of much consequence. She's a first-ballot Hall of Famer for always being professional and carrying herself (and often, her less-experienced opponents) like a true champion. I'd love to see her get that WrestleMania win, don't misunderstand. But I don't think her career is less noteworthy if it doesn't happen.

It's not going to get BETTER for her. It's only going to get worse. She's only going to get LESS pushed from this point forward, and her push was never high to begin with. They're focusing everything on Bianca and Rhea now. Asuka is not going into WrestleMania 40 and winning the championship. That isn't happening. She's not gonna get put over by Charlotte or Becky in a major singles match at WrestleMania. That isn't happening. If she gets a WrestleMania win at all, she'll be teaming with Natalya in some low card tag match, and who cares about that? I don't know when she's going to retire, she's 41, but they're only going to use her to put people over now. And even if she doesn't retire, I don't know how long she has left in WWE because Endeavor, the new owners, HATE paying their talent. They're notorious underpayers. Are they even going to pick up the contract of somebody like Asuka, who is considered extremely expendable by WWE? From Endeavors perspective, does WWE need Asuka to run? No. This is the same company who happily fired the UFC heavyweight champion. And yes, her career is absolutely less noteworthy if she doesn't get a win at WrestleMania. That's the entire problem, that's why I'm so upset about it. If her career had the same level of "noteworthiness" without a WrestleMania win, I wouldn't give a shit. What exactly has been noteworthy about her career? She won 3 world titles? Everybody wins 3 world titles, big deal. That's the bare minimum of what I expect for somebody with as much once in a lifetime talent as she has. What major, career defining moments does she have? There aren't any, because they've never pushed her seriously. Even her title wins, they force her into the background and try to downplay her reign. And she's not a "first ballot Hall of Famer". That would imply that WWE considers her to be on the same level as Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch, which she isn't. Hell, Bianca and Rhea are more "first ballot" HOF'ers than she is and they've been around for 2 years. It doesn't matter how much talent she has. Careers are not about talent, they're about pushes. If you're less pushed, you're considered less valuable. She should not be in that category of people, that's the issue. To WWE, she's throwaway. The fans don't see her that way but the fans don't mean anything.
