Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky was once a proud finishing school for young wrestlers who hoped for a chance at a career in big time Pro Wrestling but times have changed. With new owners in the picture, once-famous pro wrestler Al Snow has been given the summer to turn OVW's dire financial situation around. Wrestlers tells the story of a handful of eccentric misfits who attempt to come together to help Al save this historic gym while achieving their own wild dreams of wrestling professionally.

I really hope this shows people the new way of looking at pro wrestling, everyone knows the winner is predetermined but it’s the performance the in ring story telling the promo battles it’s an art form it’s entertainment. It allows people to be above and beyond who they once where. I love wrestling so much

This is an absolute groundbreaking documentary about wrestling. It gives the fans a perfect opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the world of professional wrestling. I think he's very much a fatherly guy, he's not going haze or abuse anyone. He's a fair kind fella. It just enhances my respect and love for his career and making my youth enjoyable. I still think about Al Snow & Mankind going to the amusement park. Their WWE magazine cover. Al's hardcore match with Bob Holly at Valentine's Day Massacre. The Chihuahua storyline.😂 It's just good to know there's an elder wrestler out there that's very honorable guy. Just who he is as a person.

But dam it you gotta respect these people who lay there bodies out there every night all year away from there families just to entertain us. They don’t have stunt doubles like actors do. Into the first 3 episodes, its evident that Matt is the antagonist and rightfully so. This guy is used to being hands on in every business he owns but in OVW he just needs to let others do their job. He should not be anywhere near the wrestlers or making any booking decisions. He should have people in place to help manage the business and then report to him like any other company. Looking forward to seeing how this will play out.

Apple Tv also had a wrestling docuseries about the Monster Factory. Which was a really good show. Too bad very few people saw it.

i hope that a Jim Cornette cameo is in this. He's pretty important to the OVW history.

This has jack shit to do with OVW when Cornette involved, this is about current awful OVW that loses $3,000 every week it is on "TV". Cornette would be embarrassed to to be associated with current OVW.

For those unfamiliar OVW was WWE's farming system. Talent was trained then they would be scouted by people like Jim Ross then given a shot at WWE Tv. WWE then used FCW Florida championship wrestling then converted it to NXT which they used to this day. Many of this people featured could end in WWE or AEW or Impact in the future. OVW is still a farming system.
