7:38 if you watch Speed's livestream it's a brilliant one-hour horror story before he gets executed live. He's livestreaming running in to a bunch of the superstars, and all over all they seem to have a common advice piece of "you always gotta stay ready!" It culminates in Speed getting surprised by some security officers backstage saying they have a surprise for him and they mute/blind the livestream and lead them to guerilla. The surprise is an interview with Stephanie McMahon who, once again tells Speed that everyone in WWE needs to stay ready because who knows what'll happen. Tozawa then enters the rumble, which leads in to the bit we all saw last night. Adds another hilarious layer to Speed's horrified "I'm not ready!" as he got shoved out by Triple H.

I went back and watched that stomp, and I’m almost certain that the double foot thing was a minor botch. If you watch Seth’s feet he only put one foot on Roman’s head, but then the angle Roman went down actually slid under Seth’s second foot. It’s honestly a wonder Seth didn’t trip and fall the way it went down.

For me, the biggest notes were: -Charlotte Flair winning was inevitable but annoying, as she is the perfect example of a wrestler who doesn't need to win the the Rumble to get to Mania, so it felt kind of pointless. -MCMG v. DIY was decent for the angle and the first fall, which I'm surprised doesn't get done more often, with the fake out tag. -Cody v. KO was what I expected, which was KO dies by spots and Cody wins in their usual high quality match. -Ishowspeed getting brutalized was the first influencer/celebrity spot in the Rumble in a long while that didn't leave me feeling like someone else should have gotten a pay day, since at least Tozawa still got paid. -Easily the worst part of the Rumble was the music. The worst selection of themes I've heard in a Rumble period. -Fatu is terrifying. -Joe Hendry showing up was wonderful and I still can't get over Sheamus telling Fatu "what are you doing? I was enjoying that" when Fatu nailed Hendry as he was trying to get a chant going. -A lot of great stories in the Men's while not a lot great stories in the Women's, as well as a lot of great faces from Cena. -This Men's Rumble was STACKED with potential winners in the latter half, but swerving the audience and having Jey go over in the upset was a great decision.

She is a transitional champion that is what liv Morgan was Tiffany is still young and will get many other chances since WrestleMania is close by they are going to use the people who they feel like are the high-profile type matches this is the formula every promotion does the people I use to wrestle for done this alot and Jey vs Gunther is a choice that should have waited but not really much happening there is a writters block right now so they are playing it safe and not thinking outside the box we seen Cody vs Roman reigns already at mania don't want to have the same thing going into mania which is why they should have waited until mania to do Gunther vs Jey but elimination chamber we might have different champions before wm41 and if Cody Rhodes is legit hurt which I doubt it they could vacate the title and have certain talent go for it, understand that since Netflix is now apart of the wrestling thing the network executives , shareholders and everyone else are the ones who are suggesting to do things and probably putting Jey as champion because the whole yeet movement is what is happening the children are falling for it so yeah it's bringing money so it's marketable, Gunther is a good heel but he is not really marketing the way other heel champions have he is a different type which he can carry the brand there are so much talent but not Many are marketable the way the executives and others who make decisions feel like so it's going to be a certain way until the next marketable person can step up which is bron breakker but who ever they use to challenge him has to be the next it factor not many talent have it so we will have the same people at the top for until they retire

Jey should lose to heel Cody. The thing is Cody turning heel is something that can come naturally. Sami confronts Cody about Kevin and Cody getting in Sami's face, officially snapping. That leads Sami and Cody to an elimination chamber match up shades of roman and Sami. But after Cody heads out after winning against Sami, jey comes out and gets in Cody's face. Honestly it's hard to fantasy book jey winning on mania. I don't see it happening

Yep, Charlotte winning and DIY retaining were the predictions I felt most confident about. Cody retaining too, but the quality of the match made up for the predictable finish. The great thing about the leadup to the men's rumble this year is that it felt like multiple guys had a legit chance at winning, but even still, I did NOT have Jey in my forecast. Wouldn't have been my choice either, but I kinda love it tho. Feels like it's been a while since the rumble was used to elevate someone new.

They did Alexa Bliss so dirty. She got a huge pop from the fans but didn't really do anything once she was in the ring. 3 people later Charlotte gets a full entrance with pyro and immediately starts clearing the ring. If they had nothing for Alexa they should have brought her out at 1 or 2 so she got an entrance at the very least.

I loved the women's Rumble. Not the winner but the match itself. Roxanne Perez should have got the upset victory but I guess that idea went to Jey Uso. She really did have a great showing. Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky were the MVPs by far. They didn't simply stay in the match a long time but also actively interacted with nearly every other participant. They ran that entire Rumble. Liv gets my MVP vote tho. Knocking Lyra Valkyria into the corner so she could fix her unfortunate wardrobe malfunction. Great awareness and good call. Plenty to say about this match because it was so good. Shame that it had to end with yet another Flair victory. These other girls have been grinding at it and actually deserved it. Not a fan of Charlotte winning at all. Fireworks in the entrance? Really? Lame. Great showcase of talent tho!

She went thru very little adversity to get that WrestleMania spot just because she is who she is. "Genetics" are "her" ally. Lol! Never seen such a MAN-butt in my life. And torso. Aaand hips (or lack thereof). Jawline, forehead, hands, feet, etc. You get my point. I do actually think "The Queen" IS a certain type of queen but I wont "drag" politics into it. Don't care that much. No skin off my nutsack. Regardless... There were many much better options in my not-so-humble opinion.

I don't mind Jey winning, and I think it's because pretty much everyone figured either Cena, Punk, or Roman was going to win, and having a surprise winner can make the Rumble way more fun. Other than that, it wasn't a bad Rumble (nothing will ever compare to 2014 - 15) but there was definitely a lot of predictability when it came to certain decisions. There weren't any major surprise entries in the men's rumble besides maybe Joe Hendry or AJ Styles, whereas with the women's rumble there were several NXT stars on hand, but everyone knew Charlotte was winning.

I loved this show... Right until the moment Jey Uso won. I wasn't happy with Charlotte winning, don't get me wrong, but I at least prepared myself for diappointment for her. But I've never gotten into Jey, I think he's kinda mid and his entrance is a bit cringe, so him winning over, say, Fatu, Drew, Punk, Sami, or Cena really deflated me. There's always next year.

My issue personally, I’m interested in Jeys come up story but not so much a Gunther rematch. However in the moment there was great stare downs, spots, surprises and even a surprising winner. Personally, I’m glad Cena didn’t win, it’s his last time, he’s old, he’s no longer prime Cena wins lol. But I believe this is gonna work well. Jey (YEET) is obviously gonna go for the world championship which leaves the WWE. Cena wins his 17th title at Elimination chamber (probably some shenanigoogles with KO and Cody) This allows Cena to walk into Wrestlemania as champ (for the final time 😭) and Cody as the challenger. Cena drops the title to Cody as does so passes the torch Fairytale ending for Cena OR potential heel turn for Cody👀 Ps. YEET Jey deserves it 🎉

Both Rumbles were great but, I the women's was just slightly better with the surprise appearances. The men though at the end with all the top stars in the ring was insane though.
