what type of bag would be good for a mask. Made sturdy like a Kane's mask, and not like a Lucha mask?
@TilWeMakeIt3 жыл бұрын
@@layna-heyhey I've seen a mask of that kind carried 2 ways - one friend of mine keeps it in a box, the other has a bag for a bowling ball, with very thick walls to it. In both cases, it travels separate from their other gear and belongings. Is yours made of a leather or canvas material?

@@layna-heyhey One of my trainees has a leather mask like what you are describing. They have a box with packing material/foam peanuts inside. After they wipe down the leather to clean it, it goes in the box with the peanuts to keep it safe during travel. Especially for a custom piece you've invested in, it's probably worth it!

When I watch your videos it gives me all the knowledge I need. It's not always a out if you can hit a shooting star sometimes a good gimmick and good etiquette gets you further.

Right on. I heard this only after I'd been in wrestling for about a decade: Pro-wrestling is 10% about the wrestling itself, and 90% about everything else.

@@TilWeMakeIt ye I have always thought that but you made it more clear about it. Thanks.

Who do you think has the best entrance gear?
@TilWeMakeIt3 жыл бұрын
I am partial to a lot of the joshis. They take presentation gear to the next level. As a Manami Toyota fan of many decades, some of her entrance robes are just...astonishing. A more current example of that same ideal: Kairi Sane.

Do you have any tips on travelling with a giant helmet like Big Van Vaders?
@TilWeMakeIt Жыл бұрын
I would ALWAYS make it my carry-on when flying. Never check a unique prop like that. If going by car, I'd get a carrying case of some kind. You can even get that egg-crate like foam material and cut it to the exact shape of the helmet, to keep it safe inside a box.

With the actual gear like tights and knee pads, is there a specific recommendation on getting logos added?
@TilWeMakeIt3 жыл бұрын
Well, you have 3 main ways to do that. The longest-lasting is to have the logo cut out of a material and stitched on. You could also have it airbrushed, which gives it a certain kind of look that doesn't work for all characters. Or, you could have it printed on, through a process like screenprint or heat press. If you do heat press, consider what is inside the pad, as that won't work in some cases (you'll melt the inside of the pad into slag.) Are you having logos added to your pads?

Til We Make It Yessir. I’d like to have a big letter across each.
@TilWeMakeIt3 жыл бұрын
@@jaredxr101 Have you investigated the cost associated with the different options? I would guess that screenprinting is the most economical, if all the letters could be cut from the same screen.
@jaredxr1013 жыл бұрын
Til We Make It So screenprinting wouldn’t harm the inside of the pad?
@TilWeMakeIt3 жыл бұрын
@@jaredxr101 I think some of the ink might come through the fabric, but as long as you never intend to dissect the pad itself, it won't matter if it gets ink on it. A screenprinter might even recommend pulling the pad before the printing, but I have knee pads where that isn't possible. It's a complete piece all stitched together, and cutting it open just to make sure the pad inside doesn't get any ink on it doesn't make sense to me. Know what I mean?
