With the last clip, there is always a danger when they get caught and stuck in the ropes, danger of losing circulation to that part of the body, Foley lost an ear, other wrestlers have had their heads caught and choked, some concussed, so its fairly understandable why they had a few people quickly jump up and try to release him from the ropes, and none of the other wrestlers took advantage and played along to beat him down

No the last clip was he was supposed to clear the ropes and land into the crowd of wrestlers. He didn't clear the rope but the crowd fell down to keep to the script. Just like all the other people who fell down when hits didn't land like the refree they did the double take on. He was "supposed" to get knocked down by leg swiping him and be out cold so he couldn't count out the match (common trope in wrestling) He can't be up and about or they can't follow the script so he took his really bad fall instead.

@@Lowlightt yes the people on the outside took the spot regardless to follow the script however what I'm referring to is the fact that very quickly, people jumped on to the apron to get him out because he was trapped as there is a danger as those ropes are tight and stiff and to carry on with the match. The heels would carry on beating him if they could but they couldn't because they followed the script and went down so other people intervened and got him out
