What makes Samoa Joe any different or better than Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, Sheamus & Wade Barrett? ALL FOUR of those guys had/have potential to taken seriously as role playing main event level heels with better booking. If Samoa Joe couldn't rise above the bad booking he endured in TNA, what makes people think he has any chance of rising above it in WWE? Point is these guys talk about WWE's bias towards certain performers yet these guys constantly let their indie darling bias cloud their judgement hence Alvarez acting as if Samoa Joe is leaps & bounds superior to the performers in the League of Nations.

How many five star matches have Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, Sheamus & Wade Barrett combined had? 0 How many five star matches has Samoa Joe had? 3 0 x Infinity < 3 Therefore, in terms of having five star matches, Joe is infinitely better than Del Rio, Rusev, Sheamus & Barrett combined.

Rick Felt WWE is a business. Workrate doesn't matter, money does. Five star matches don't draw money; the promise of an excellent match only appeals to hardcores. The best drawing house show feud (ten or more singles main events) in last 10 years = Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus (Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter - January 2, 2017). While Alberto Del Rio exercised his right to end his last WWE contract early, the reason Vince McMahon brought him back was because he was a big draw in Mexico (when WWE toured Mexico when ADR was gone from company, promoters complained about lack of star power, & WWE had to send The Undertaker). If you seriously believe Samoa Joe is better than all four talent combined; I seriously believe you're a moron. Personally I'd choose TMNT 2 star Sheamus over Samoa Joe.
