Lyubo's wrestling is awesome. You can tell by his movement that his skills are head and shoulders beyond most youtube pundits.

Hit this on one of our black belts with this the other week, he made me suffer for the next 5 minutes 😂. Really effective and high percentage, drilled it like crazy with my kids project.

seems that a fireman's carry would be more efficient and easier from that entry .. am i wrong ?

Depends on your preference: in this scenario I'd rotate 'round to the back.

I am trying to improve my wrestling for BJJ. But at my school they always teach me head on the inside for doubles and singles. Obviously to prevent guillotines.
@jacobday38264 жыл бұрын
This can be used in BJJ, that's why he's looking towards his opponent's far side shoulder. However, before you go and do this at your next class you are still quite susceptible to guillotines, this simply mitigates the threat.

As a prior wrestler, I shoot in when we roll but I keep getting guillotined , they seem to panic a little bit and really clench hard. I feel like it’s their Achilles heel, just have to figure out how to not always get my neck cinched, I know it’s possible because I’ve seen fighters successfully do this in the MMA. Maybe I’ll try keeping the head closer to the shoulder like that fella in the video, it’s so frustrating getting choked when I’m the fastest shooter in the class, it’s my strong point and in a real confrontation, it’s a pretty nice way to take someone down if you’re quick.

Hey man, I have the same problem. Did you figure out how to avoid getting guillotined consistently ?

Your head is not the strongest part of your body. Your glutes are the strongest single muscle on the human body.
