In pure wrestling that’s not the best idea because it makes you easier to pin, but in Bjj it’s fine because there is no pin, so it’s kind of like a pull cancel for a Bjj wrestler

That is essentially like juking someone in basketball but never going for the layup or the shot. It is essentially useless. So to put it simply, his foot sweep failed because he didn't follow up on it.
