Wonderful man, pure grace. I have never really put much attention into him, always payed more attention to the bigger guys, but I'll always say that he's going down a true path, and his style in the ring is like none other. LOVE REY!

Its impossible to not respect Rey Mysterio. I've always liked him, but he has never been my favorite guy in the WWE, I've always preffered E&C, Triple H, HBK, Rock, Stone Cold etc. But Rey Mysterio just seems to be a great person, a great performer, a great human being, a family man with a beautiful wife and kids. Probably the most respected person in WWE history.

The attitude era was the only time I was really into wrestling, not only was I at the right age then but I still think it was better as I am older. There weren't a lot of true faces in that era that I can remember. The definitions were changed during that period.
@minib3212 жыл бұрын
If Rey turns heel then just have him refuse to remove the mask after losing. Keeps the honour of his character intact (I don't think he's ever appeared without his mask in the WWE) and he gets a final push as a heel for a while against Sin Cara.

A heel is basically like the "bad guy", the one that the fans are supposed to boo and not like. A face or babyface is like the hero that the fans are supposed to love. I say "supposed" because sometimes the fans prefer the heel. Stone Cold was supposed to be a heel but the fans loved him.
@luuminhvuong13 жыл бұрын
If you look at Rey , he's a truly nice guy. He has a happy family (unlike those who got married and get divorced a few months later), he doesnt act like an arrogant dude although he is a veteran. He got many injuries and probably has to work banged up all of the time.....

People sometimes mouth off about people being inducted into the hall of fame the year they retire (i.e. Edge) but surely if Rey doesn't get fired for a 3rd strike on the wellness policy that man deserves to have the same treatment as Edge when he retires. No he hasn't won as many WWE or World Heavyweight titles as that guy but as a small man myself he was a major part of what kept me watching wrestling when I was younger. Despite being small he's still a superman, and a great guy.

@MindNumbingInc9 жыл бұрын
Jyson Hubbard Not so much his ring time, but he didn't have as much freedom. Rey left mainly for more freedom. Like he said, he loves his family and he's a big family man. His kids are getting up there. Dom's 18, Aalayah's 14 and going into high school. You know, he wants to be around them more and be in touch with those in his corner more. Being on the road is something, especially with WWE's schedule (it was more hectic back in the early 2000's and before on). I'm glad Rey left too, he's still open to a return but nothing prolonged like some. Maybe a cameo, or a return match or W.M appearance/match. You know.
@Rezqewr8 жыл бұрын
+Jyson Hubbard Rey went to Mexico after leaving WWE. Sadly, whilst rassling in Tijuana in Mar. '15, his opponent died from a broken neck after receiving a "619" kick.
@MindNumbingInc8 жыл бұрын
Rezqewr Technically it wasn't the 619. Look at the video, he missed. Del Perro went into the match with a serious neck injury and when he landed on the 2nd rope for the setup, it worsen and his health rapidly declined.
@Rezqewr8 жыл бұрын

@Simplyphenomenal0713 жыл бұрын
the reason its hard to find more faces like rey who can replace the future hall of famers is because there are no faces.. apart from cena, orton and 1-2 others like rey, faces are dying down. No more run ins and beat downs to equalise the heels. I love heels, but we need faces.
@MRWWEReport13 жыл бұрын
Peter U should go to more shows man!!!
@JustChrisTM11 жыл бұрын
Rey is a first ballot hall of famer. Him in the late 90s and Taker (American Badass and after) were my favorites. As a fan, I love seeing them go, but I think these guys should hang it up so they don't (a) become a piss poor version of who they used to be, (b) so they don't get "Edge'd" by doctors, and (c) so they can both be ALIVE for their HOF inductions. Too many posthumous considerations today as it is. (Savage, Bulldog, Owen etc.)
@swagnone61911 жыл бұрын
A guy who the people boo often is called a heel. CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger are heel wrestlers and John Cena, Miz, Del Rio, Kofi Kingston are ''face'' wrestlers- guys who get cheered.
