You can't scrub Vince McMahon from the history of WWE. Beniot was not synonymous with the brand like McMahon, and although loved by hardcore fans, he was never near the level of Hogan, Austin, The Rock, or even Shawn Michaels or Brett Hart. This will permanently taint the brand. And although I grew up a wrestling fan, I'm not sure that's a bad thing at this point. How many of our favorite wrestlers growing up kept a lid on this?

It can taint the era, but it shouldnt taint the CURRENT brand. The culture, consideration, and level of concern seems much different now than it was then, and that should count for something. There is a difference in what was done under VMK's control, and what is done now under different people.
