What I honestly don't understand is, who in the right mind would let a 17 y/o drive such a fast car. Hell, I know a lot of parents who wouldn't trust their 17y/o with a normal everyday car, no matter how careful or good drivers they might be, because they know kids will be kids aren't exactly known for making the best decisions. I mean, it's just completely irresponsible on so many levels, especially since he was caught speeding multiple occasions (he once bragged in one magazine that he went 123mpg in 50mph zone!). It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that something bad was bound to happen... It's one thing to try and be supportive of your child's passions/hobbies/whatever but not to the point where it endangers them and more importantly the people around them.
