@Chuck Buskee ironically I think it was his win against Cena at Extreme Rules that hurt him more than the loss at Wrestlemania. Cena wiped out an entire team by himself who defeated the Shield and it took a child with an awful voiceover to get Cena

In the Fiend, Wyatt had a character that was portrayed as invincible for months on end and even literally beat John Cena at Wrestlemania. He also had PPV wins against Ambrose, Cena (AGAIN), Bryan, Strowman, Rollins, Balor, Styles and many more. I'm not sure how many more big wins they could have given him. The idea that he needed to win more is just not true: he had huge wins over several top stars. It's just that some of his matches and feuds were absolute garbage (see the video above).

While all the losses were frustrating, what made them worse is that nothing came of them. Nothing changed or progressed. Every major loss resulted in Wyatt retreating back to his corner and spouting off eloquent dribble before the process starts over again. You can feed a Wrestler loss after loss, as long as something comes out of it. For example: M.V.P was on a losing streak in late 2008, and he needed one more win to keep up his extravagant lifestyle. He lost his last chance and one was down in the dumps. But what made that work is that he did change. He became surprisingly good Babyface after beating Big Show in a Last Man Standing Match, with some help from Triple H, and even won the United States Championship again before Mania.

I feel like the Hell in a cell match was his worst moment. I was in the crowd that night and everyone was genuinely excited to see the fiend. WWE booked themselves into a corner. This was the fiends second match and he had so much momentum. The real reason we turned on Rollins was because he was bragging about how large his bank account was.

I think the real problem, obviously was Vince. He wanted a PG product and he didn't want to repeat what he did in the Attitude Era with the Ministry and how sideways that went. And in line with the PG product, he couldn't very well have a cult leader/unstoppable demon as the face of the company. I feel Bray did everything right, but with Vince being out a touch and his ego so big that he couldn't push something he didn't have a hand in creating, but obviously was held back by management and their shit decisions.

Taker really should have passed the torch to him as the supernatural end boss, but beat him in Mania in a not great match. Bray was hurt if I remember correctly & late stage Taker was late stage Taker. Didn't help the match between the dark supernatural characters happened in broad daylight. And then finished the deed by burying him & whole Family at Survivor Series just for his 25th anniversary or something dumb like that. Very similar to what happened with the Rock afterwards.

Listen, for the most part, I like Bray. He’s pretty good in the ring, is really charismatic and engaging and clearly is very creative. But I am so damn sick of him and his schtick and how many horrible matches and angles we’ve been subjected to due to either his wishes for his character or Vince and the bookers trying to enhance his gimmick(s). But hey, EVERYTHING under Vince was BAD. for Bray Wyatt. Deleter of Worlds had potential. They missed an opportunity to use the Punt Kick to Husky changed him to Bray Wyatt... I definitely would add the current iteration of Bray to the list.

It's such a shame that someone so creative and someone so loved by the audience has had so much crap to wade through in his career. The cult character was awesome, but he lost so much that even young ass me, who wasn't even truly that smart to the business yet, could not care about bray because I knew from the instant a feud started that he'd always lose and they always leaned on basic tropes and nonsense with his feuds and segments too much to make it interesting anyway. Then there was the fiend which was cool, but they made it too mystical and supernatural to where it was just weird, backed themselves into countless corners with him, and then they fired him. This is more of a Wyatt Family thing than a Bray Wyatt thing, but since I haven't seen anyone mention it in the comments yet: Daniel Bryan joining the Wyatt Family. I don't think there was a single soul on Twitter who liked that at the time. It didn't do much for The Wyatt Family, it didn't kill fan support for Daniel Bryan, and it ended up ending after two weeks.

It did give us two great moments: Bryan turning against Bray inside the steel cage, and their fantastic Royal Rumble 2014 match, so it wasn’t all bad.
