Avatar had a criminally short set at Riff Fest, but I’m glad so many people got the opportunity to discover them! It is truly impossible to pigeonhole this band into a genre or category, which is part of the reason I am such a huge fan…well, that and the fact that Johannes’s (and the rest of the band’s collective) sense of humor and personality that comes through in interviews, fan interactions, and shows is just so damn endearing 😊

Previously, I wasn't encouraged by the band's songs to listen to but Johannes Eckerstrom attracted me with his personality. That's how I liked Avatar! I hope to see you in February 2022, in Poland guys!
