This was a great model, and it looked amazing in the end but there were only 2 measurements: one of the wings and one of the tail. I had no idea how long to make the skewers or anything else. I had to guess, but it still looked amazing!

Thanks and sorry about the measurements. As you have mentioned, I took the mainwing and elevator dimensions as reference and used approximate dimensions for all other parts. This was just a casual model.

This is just a paper model. Will be doing a working model of this with ABS plastic in the near future.

Should glide if you cheat a bit. The trick is two-fold: 1) Ditch historical anhedral of the main wings and go dihedral. 2) Angle the canard up so it stalls before the wings do. Add some ballast to get the c.g. In the right place…metal washers work well. Ditch the props. Glide ratio will be terrible…but it will fly nicely in gentle scallops. Glide ratio of 4:1 is about all you can expect. Indoors or outside in dead calm conditions.

Its plain brown paper that is used for packing. Top layer of a cardboard has this paper.

Of course Wright brothers did a good job. But, there are inscriptions and information about flying machines that existed in India much earlier than the Wright brothers period.
