WOW!!!! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS???? As I'm trying to navigate their website, I have to agree, not the best. Today's mission is to get my hands on one of their catalogs, and find a place to buy their tools. The List of OHIO made stuff is amazing: Wright, Whirlpool, Hi-Point, Ithica, Cooper Tire, Good Year, Ford, Honda, Jeep, Kitchen aid, MTD, Lincoln Welders, Iams & Eukanuba pet food, MTM Case-Guard.... And the List goes on.... Thanks for another great Video!! Let's all keep supporting our hard working neighbors buy buying the products & services they work so hard to provide!!

Wright is a well known brand in the heavy industrial mechanical trades. It’s the only wrench I’ve seen that took a rusty 2” hex bolt off of a large diameter steam pipe flange. Their stuff is top notch and extremely durable.

I was so excited I had to come back and post another comment!! Today was putting away some tools I bought at a local auction, when I noticed a box of 3/4 Inch drive sockets, not having any 3/4 drive tools, I was intrigued.. Then I noticed what was stamped on the sockets!!! Yuppers!! WRIGHT TOOLS, from rite here in OHIO... Thanks Eric, not sure I would have noticed if not for this Video!!

It is getting harder and harder to find stuff still make in the US- Thanks for supporting American companies

@@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs Yeah i'm noticing how difficult it is to find US-made-anything . I just did a Google search for "List of made in usa reddit" and they have a full list of US made tools & appliances. Thanks again for the video. It was very informative, i didn't know Cornwell was a US brand.

I just subbed-Great video! I just got a set of Wrightgrip 2.0 metric combination wrenches and the quality is very high. When I apply a wrench from this set to a fastener, the tolerance is very close compared to other brands.I think I have found my new tool brand.

wright tools are one of very few privately held brands making tools domestically and as far as your run of the mill, traditional 15degree offset combination wrenches, The Wright grip wrenches imo are no question about it as good as anything else on the market for less coin, S-O included and while the Snap on wrenches hold value better and are about an inch longer on average which generally i do prefer long pattern however there isn’t enough difference to matter especially if you consider the SO cuts into your hand when you start reefing on it and the Wright grip wrenches are a bit thicker rolled edged that just feel much better in hand. Also the snap on have a bit of flex to them that the Wright grip wrenches just don’t and overall they just feel more solid in every way. I do recognize that Wrights offerings are a bit dated such as their archaic ratchet designs and while I like the contour grip o do wish they made a modern fine tooth ratchet and their swivel impact sockets or power socket selection is a bit limited so I would love to see them expand and modernize their offerings some but overall wright tools are of extremely high quality and can be found at a fair price

It's hit or miss on Amazon. For hand tools, they are OK. For specialty tools, it gets complicated quickly.
