Corrections: 1:00 "Rec Room made in 2016": Rec Room was indeed released in 2016. However, it only released and was only playable using an HTC Vive at first, playable via Steam. The Oculus Rift did exist but the touch controllers were not out yet. Rec Room didn't come to the Oculus Rift until December 7th, 2016, the same day the Touch controllers released. Fun fact: While I wasn't around at the time, builds dating back to the first available public build already supported the Touch controllers. One can assume the devs had pre-release units available to them before they were out for the public. 1:58 "Rec Room Moderators": HairyManLegs isn't really a moderator, they just happen to have the same developer privileges that allow them to take moderator actions like any other support member of developer, but it doesn't mean they actually do any of the moderating themselves, nor do they ban players. 7:58 "Setting is a school": It's not supposed to be a school. It's just a recreational center, rec center for short obviously. I see the school similarities but as far as I know, it's not supposed to represent one. 9:04 "2015 trailer": This one gets tossed around a lot, and it's very misleading. The game began development in April 2016. This trailer was made between April and June of 2016. Rec Room did not exist in 2015 in any way, shape, or form. 12:19 "Coach Hacked": This one is very misleading too. Nobody has ever gotten into the @Coach account. What happened here is that before anti-cheat was implemented, people could hack their client to spoof their account to look like another account to other players. This means that the real account they were using was likely a low level account with a random username, but using their hacks they could spoof their account to other game clients and lie to them about which @username they really were using. Source: I'm making an iceberg video, it currently has 70~ different entries right now (some of which were in this video already), and the estimate video length is currently over a hour. I've also been around since 2017 so I know a thing or two.

Although Rec Room may not represent a school, we hear the words "campus" and "dorm rooms" from either official community posts or in the game itself. Both of these words/phrases would belong to the vocabulary of a University, and of course everyone knows that there is the Rec Room Theatre department. A Theatre department is usually one department alongside many other departments at a school/university (The Maths Department, Sports department). Therefore, not only can we confirm that the "Rec Room" has to be some kind of organisation, a community, or even just a university, but there have to be other departments that we haven't exactly heard of yet. 13:41, I was "lucky" enough to have loaded into this on accident, basically I had accidentally left my headset (Quest 1) running rec room overnight, when I put it on, I loaded into that dorm room, it was like a normal dorm room but of course with those numbers and a pitch black vibe, something felt very ominous about it, however I failed to actually document my discovery because after about 30 seconds, my game crashed.

This is my theory of how rec room started (game lore, not talking bout the company) It all started 20 million years ago. Coach, who was still alive at that time, was scared of the end of the world. She knew that one day, the world would end. Because she believed this, she decided to do something. She spent trillions of dollars (she was rich) on building the entire rec room universe. Everyone saw it and ridiculed her for it, but she did not care, so she kept building. Eventually, she was right. The world did end. A black hole created by the forbidden one started swallowing the entire universe. Eventually, rec room was the only thing left. In fear of their lives, everyone started running towards the place, knowing that is was the only way they would live. The rec center was designed to look like a college. Coach wanted them to forget about the real world. We have been in the rec room universe for millions of years, but it only has felt like 5. Coach wanted us to think we lived in the real world. Eventually, Coach, sadly, passed away (which is why the account is no longer active.) Even though she is no longer with us, her legacy continues to thrive as the person who saved us all. Eventually, the black hole will consume us though (the day you guys don’t make enough money to keep the servers running.) It is a sad fact, but it is our impending doom….

yeah I don't think it was it's supposed to be set in the 80s or the year 1987 because there are shirts from 2016 to 2020 referencing the 21st-century not the 20th century the only reason 87 is on every little thing is because it's an Easter egg because the RecRoom headquarters is on 87th St. in Seattle and they just added the 19 in front of it they just make a little year within the rec room lore it might be coaches date of birth or when rec room was founded.

I've seen the forbidden one in the old login screen. I used to play on PSVR and I once saw a figure just sorta staring at me from the dark. I decided not to play rec room that day. Also once I was chilling in my dorm alone, when I suddenly just started hearing whispering sounds, I couldn't really understand what it was saying but I heard something along the lines of "It's forbidden" and "You cannot tell them" and then my game crashed. When I went back to log in, I looked around and there was no shadowy figure anymore.
