Its not always an alien per se, a doppleganger is often an evil-double....legend says its usually a demon or other similar dark entity. But yes, in the stories they often can take the form of their target...& exist as they....without the target dying or even knowing for a time.

The Casey that's hanging out with Jordan and Mason is not the real Casey. The real Casey's body is in the bathroom stall, somewhere in Florida. She wakes at the end after she was attacked. She's confused and doesn't remember what had happened.

@@StrongPictures Ok. I knew that Casey hanging out with her friends in the car was the doppelganger. I was just puzzled by the ending when she woke up. Thinking "okat, was she dreaming all this time or what"? Thanks.

@@StrongPicturesthen why was she acting completely normal in the car? Like not liking Mason and stuff but then she likes him at the apartment??? Makes no sense. If it was the doppelganger then she should've been acting all nice towards him in the car as well.
