I always remember this ad from my childhood. Every time I hear all right now by free (playing on planet Rock at this very moment) I always think of this ad. Hence I'm here watching it again after many years. Yep I'm old now.

My favourite, most memorable advert ever! I was 5 when this came out and thinking back now, if i wanna get a little deep - i think it made me excited about my teenage and adult years which were to come. it was like 'wow, so i get to experience things, places, women like this when i grow up?' i still look for these moments now. Crazy, all from a short little advert .

I passed my driving test in 1990 and this single was one of the first songs I put on tape to play in my car stereo !! Sad but true. Happy memories none the less :)

This advert was on when I was 16, and I longed to travel after seeing this. A few years later at 20, I left my small town in the UK and went on a multi year travel from Canada, America, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, South East Asia, Poland, Brussels, France, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Djibouti, Bahrain and at 50 yrs of age I never found that 1 girl to share my gum with. Brilliant memories, though, and I wouldn't change a thing.

One of the only ads I remember as a child. I was 8 and I remember thinking how great it was that they had met their future husband/wife and we’re going to have beautiful children, live on a big ranch, ride horses and live happily ever after. Child’s minds are so naive! 😂

This must have been on TV for years. I remember seeing it as a kid on TV. My earliest memories are around 1995 though they're very hazy. Then I remember it being on a VHS of Wrestlemania VIII I borrowed from a friend as a kid taped live off Sky sports in 1992. And here it says it was from 1990.

Hang about a bit !!! Didn't they unwrap the chewing gum halfs then pop the two pieces into there mouths and start chewing them while looking at each other ??? Yet when the guy gets off the bus, the girl follows him and joins the two pieces together to make one ? .... The two pieces would be screwed up paper by now surely and the gum would be two chewed up balls right ? .....Lol XD only kidding and loved this advert from my childhood :)

I was thinking the same! However, there is an explanation if you want to search for it. It is possible to unwrap the gum and not screw up the paper - which maybe they both did in order to preserve a memento (unlikely). I used to carefully unwrap this gum and replace the wrapper and offer it to people haha. Btw I know your aren't being so serious - great ad!
