Awesome! Works like a charm on the Zipper’s M8 124ci pistons. The circlip provided by zipper’s is tougher than the original. Getting them into the fitting, without hurting yourself, was the toughest task 😅.

Wow I did the exact same thing but thought it was my idea! The real trick is having the clip sticking out like you show so it starts to sit into the groove before you shove the rest of it in. I used a socket for shoving.

I would like to try this, but how come a 3/4" can go into another 3/4" socket, are you sure it's not 5/8"x 1/2" instead of 3/4"×1/2 ?

Brilliant, am going to try tomorrow for my Lotus engine, those damn c clips are driving me nuts! Only issue is my pin size is 13/16", hope the fittings at Ace will be close enough with a little lathe work.
