Didn’t stay for the entire thing, but it helped me finish a chapter I’d been procrastinating on writing for two weeks. Thanks for all the work you do, it certainly helps me write better stories

Hey Abbie, just wanted to say I love your channel. I'm fifteen and I live in South Africa. I've been writing for three years and your videos along with Jenna Moreci and Natalia Leigh have really helped me a lot and I've learned so much. Love you and your book (it literally made me cry and realize that you don't need fancy prose and you can be simple and great). ❤❤❤❤💙💙💙💙

Session 1 - Character development work sheets Session 2 - 710 words. (Loved the banter in this scene) Session 3 - 149 words. I had to do a bit of research on France to make sure I was writing la bise (hello and farewell kiss) scene correctly haha. Session 4 - 503 words. Writing conflict is so fun, why did nobody tell me this?! Took a 40 minute break Session 5 - 355 words. (It was getting so fun, was so sad to stop, but it's late) Thanks for this video Abbiel. You are a sweetheart and a joy to write with. So inspiring!

Thank you for keeping these on your channel after you go live. Writing with you in these 25 min chunks is super helpful in making me get these words out. It’s super motivating to know you and a whole community is doing it too (even if it were months ago). I hope to catch a livestream soon. 🌈🐶❤️

I have only recently started writing my own books that were not based on any kind of fanfiction in September of last year starting with a series about Arranged Marriages. Your Livestreams where people are able to write with you have helped me so much when it came to writing the stories that have become part of that series. Even when I take long periods of time off I come back and you are a great help with everything that I have gone through with the entire writing process. Thanks a whole bunch. I look forward to each writing session even when I have to wait until after I get out of school before I can continue writing it makes everything worth it when I finish my book in the very end. :)

Hello Abbie! I believe you said to tell you in the comments section time zones and potential availabilities, so if you're still wondering I'm Central Standard Time (1 hour behind you :D) and I do vaguely kinda sorta have a 9-5 schedule type thing so if that helps, excellent! Also, IDK if you're still looking for any video suggestions, but I'm actually curious to see a video on your thoughts exploring story and storytelling outside of Western culture. You might not be well-versed in that area (and that's fine, I myself am not lol) but if you did a video series or something like that exploring/studying story and storytelling from non-Western cultures and/or artists and educators in those fields and see if things like story structure or character arcs are similar and/or how different they are in the most popular/best rated movies/books/tv/etc. amongst audiences. Sending you love and thank you for your channel and advice and help and all those things!!!

Even though I didn't make it to this live, it was great to watch this back and to write along with you, Abbie. I'm still working on my long outline and was able to crank out 2,325 words. This was great for me considering that I haven't touched my WIP since March 6. I will definitely be using this Pomodoro Technique moving forward.
Thank you for the sprints! I'll use it to the max for productivity! ❤

I'm working on a book and my word count goal is 80,000 for the whole book, which works out at about 4,500 words per chapter (there is 20 chapters). It is a challenge because I usually only write 1,000 words per chapter because they are normally short books. My goal is to write 2,000 words a day, but I don't check the word count until the end of the day otherwise I will get too distracted, I won't get the word count I wanted and what I right will be crap. #Happywriting!

Hey Abbie, I'm new to your live streams (I always manage to miss when you're actually live!), but this really does help! Quick question: I'm a strict plotter, how do you incorporate new ideas into your plot as you're writing? I have my outline pretty much sussed out, but I recently had a new idea that has completely thrown me off course! Thanks for all that you do, you help us aspiring writers more than you know :) hope you're staying safe during this time!

What I ended up writing (its a rough draft, idk if its any good :P ) As the concvict stares helplessly into the soulessly dark opening, he can feel his blood running colder than the waters churning below me. Only when he reached the cliff did he truly feel helpless. In the distance, helicopters roar avove the forest, their burningly bright searchlights piercing through the brush. Vaguely, he can hear the commotion of the officers echoing amongst the trees - a search party looking for the man who had killed his daughter. Or, more acuratley, the man whos wife had framed him for it. He knows that behind closed doors and fake tears, she is sipping on fine wine, claiming all of his fortune after his arrest - and subsequent escape. Until now, this forsest had been his safe haven. Now, at the ledge of a cliff with a violent ocean churning below and practically an army behind him, hes left with but two choices: a life of bondage, or a death in freedom. Slowly, he prepares to do the latter
