writing a 2000 word essay in 8 hours

Write an essay with me! AKA stress about writing an essay for an hour because you have zero sources and no idea what you’re doing. It’s a fun time 😌
I had fourteen hours to write a 2000 word essay, and if I’m being honest in retrospect that doesn’t sound so bad. However, on this particular day, I was overwhelmed with the realisation that this was my first essay for this particular professor and I wanted to leave a good impression. So the fact that I had precisely zero sources had me sweating.
But anyways, I ended up completing the essay in about 7 hours. Was it good? Ground-breaking? Awe-inspiring?
No, not at all.
But it’s my prof’s problem now.
