Not sure if valid for this version of LSDJ but you can tap A when selecting commands and it will give a scrolling help text at top of screen - this is also documented in the LSDJ Operators Manual there is loads of cool stuff in there. Also tyvm for this guide, as much as I can read manuals seeing someones workflow is inspiring and you pick up helpful tips from context. Can I ask did you need to program BGB to work with your controller? I have an XBOX360 controller I coudl use, keyboard is a pain in the ass. I am struggling to justify buying a GameBoy until I have made some kind of music.

Thanks for watching. Wise choice to stick with the emulator at first. It's a great way to try LSDJ before investing in a cartridge and Gameboy. I run Windows myself and have never had to do any configuration, aside from mapping the controllers buttons in the input settings. Using a gamepad like the Xbox 360 / Xbox One controller is very nice. One thing I like to do is map the select button to the right trigger, which makes switching screens a breeze. Good luck!

Hello, thanks a lot for this tuto, I was able to do the same on my lsdj : ) ... however had to put : TRANSPOSE F4 on project menu to have sound as the same sound on video (an octave lower I think)

Tiks *are* hard to explain, lol. It's nearly impossible to explain that sound and graphics on these games are tied to ntsc/pal clock frequency and tempo doesn't exist but can be constructed by assigning so many ticks/frames per second to each beat

Using trackers since 2014, I'm seriously considering using real GameBoy with LSDJ then post processing on them

I want to se a video where you use LSDJ like you would on a live music performance, but you record the screen.

I'd love to do some Gameboy streams in the future :) Unsure what people would like to see, like if they want it to be more of a tutorial thing or if they just wanna see some dude write music. So let me know what you think'd be more interesting!

RoccoW Awesome, yeah I would enjoy watching you write as I’ve got most of the fundementals. I feel like watching the work flow would provide answers to people’s more difficult questions. Plus we can always ask live questions if someone is confused. Although that’s just my two cents, and anything is better than nothing :). Thx for the reply! Sending Good Vibes!
