Good luck on this! I'm 16 too and I've *started* novels a couple of times, but each time, I've finished the first draft and left it at that because I never had the courage to continue. I hope you fare better on your journey - your book idea is pretty cool! My favourite book is Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. I liked it because it felt like each sentence was delightfully unexpected. It made me laugh, even in the tragic moments.

as a fellow teen trying to write a novel, it truly is difficult. I'm a few chapters into my first real attempt at writing a full novel, and finding time to do it is so hard 😭. Good luck on your writing journey, and remember, first drafts don't have to be good! its just to get ideas on the page. As for book recommendations, "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card is literally my favorite book, highly recommend.

Nice novel idea! I will subscribe and stick around to give you more feedback on it! In general experiences of other authors can help, those can be videos, essays or their insta. reddit has great forums for genres and topics. If you have a specific topic/problem, you may even get 1:1 help from some people. Talk to many people about your project and let them help you!
