Where did you find that vocal? Also, loving these videos. Would you show us how you process vocals both creatively and from a mix perspective? That would be super helpful for me right now!

Quick feedback on the video the volume of the microphone is a little low compared to the ableton sound so it really blasts when trying to hear what you are saying in comparison. Maybe level it better for next video

Morgan I always see your track volumes always set at 0. I watched a mixing mastering video from you but this wasn’t addressed if I recall correctly. Can you elaborate how your mixes sound good like this? I assume you use utility or something to mix but even so a lot of time it seems that you don’t do this

He mentioned in another video that he has a glue compressor and limiter set to -1.5db on the master channel. Allowing him to not have to do any crazy leveling and keeps everything loud of the rip. Honestly pretty good tip been using it lately.

Curios - can you be more specific on which video? I've always been taught to leave the master channel alone until the mastering phase.

@@joelcrane kzbin.info/www/bejne/rp2qnYeErsyYsLM Around the minute 50 mark on this video. Been doing this in my latest tracks and its helped with my dynamics so much its insane. I hope Morgan makes a more in depth video on his mixing and mastering process cause I could definitely use that.

@@evanzverev9368 thanks for this! I wish there was a more complete explanation about this. When you mix against compression and limiting there’s no opportunity for mix buss processing and finalization. I’m curious how he masters for things like Spotify or vinyl. There’s so much opportunity to fine tune at that stage.
