In this video we write the equations of some polar curves from their graphs. We use an approach that involves making a table of values, plotting a rectangular graph (either sine or cosine), and then writing the equation of the rectangular graph. I really like this method because it relies on things skills you’ve been building all along.
The first example has a limacon with no inner loop.
The second example is a cardioid. We do this two ways.
