Congratulations on your highest word count ever! I did that recently with the second draft of my fantasy novel last month (somehow wrote about 6K total in one weekend, 3.5K one day, 2.5K the next). It’s an amazing feeling to hit such a high word count when it doesn’t happen very often. Good luck with drafting the rest of BITTER BONES! 12 hours! Wow! I write a few in a day. I have a nice routine too, but it has kind of fallen on the wayside. So I need to get back on track. I am probably writing less than you, but I am inspired to match you one day soon. Also, I love how you organize your chapters. When I write a more quality version of my chapters I usually make sure I outline what needs to happen in that chapter from events to tid bits of world building information and seeding in foreshadowing. Thank you bringing my inspiration back. Also the black pant you had on earlier, I think I have the same one.

A baking soda paste works to draw the venom from bug bites too. ~ A teeny tiny splash of water with enough baking soda to the consistency you'd like. Baking soda paste + your hack to soothe would be the perfect combo ugh.

About the maintenance lmao... One time I had fencing guys come to my house and I left the blow up pool down the side and went out half dressed with a bag on my head because I was in the middle of dying my hair and then of course found out I personally knew one of the tradesmen there. Still embarrased and it was like 2 years + ago.

I was so scared I slept with my light on. A few years later I saw the book in the library again and thought there was no way it was as scary as I remembered. So I checked it out and read it. Spoiler alert: more nights with the light on! Anyway, book rec!
