my father would love your work. He always wanted me to do large scale paintings and the most I do is illustrations in A3. He would be delighted with your art. It’s the first time I see watercolor illustrations so big, they are fantastic

I dont know the englisch Term for the Word you’re looking for ( see through thing above bed) but in German it is called “Himmel” which means “sky” … maybe that’s what you mean 😊😊

Well I’m German so I will now be calling it a Himmel, I want to be conversational in German by August when I go back to visit my family so adding Himmel the vocabulary ❤

Chantall, I ADORE page 5!! Thankyou for letting us see your process, it's so cool to watch how you approach and overcome challenges. I would love to know, where did you purchase the watercolour paper for this project? Love all that you're doing

Thank you so much ☁️💫 this page was such a challenge I’m so glad you love it so. This paper is arches 640gsm 1010mm x 1540 I think. Some supplier should sell it in your country you just have to do some digging (unfortunately you do have to buy it in a pack of five). I also use 56cm x 76cm sheets from art to art (Australia) which are more affordable if your looking for bigger paper and just starting out!

Wow! The talent! I don’t comment much on your videos but I had to! I like the dark background in the Adena’s bedroom but I feel like you need to think about the dark colours of the clock and how you can really emphasise the background because really you have 2 ways of showing time and I’m concerned about the background blending in with the clock since the clock is brown. Also is the star a visual effect or is it a decoration on her wall? Suggestion, maybe you can put a lightning strike in the background maybe to contrast calm with heavy and scary like the scary world and showing how much peace comes from being a child by adena’s safe haven. I have no idea if that’s even remotely what your thinking of or not but ignore me if it’s not x

Thank you Emma ❤ I definitely wanted to make this painting as comfortable and calming as possible but I’m actually thinking of making the background a touch darker and to even out the wash (because I’m a perfectionist) which may make the ornaments and clock more apparent but as they aren’t the focus maybe they don’t need to be 🤔 I’ll marinate on it for a week 😅Yes the shooting star is decoration and we’ll actually see it in the next page! Thank you so much for your thoughts it’s much appreciated, I love to hear what people think! (I also replied to your email a few weeks ago, in case you hadn’t seen it) xx
