Writing Input Statements in Matlab

Using the input function to get information from a user in Matlab. Also how to specify when a string input is expected.

I like the reminder about spaces. I see people write the input function without spaces and then add spaces when inputting a value as the user in the command window. Great reminder. Also I like the clear explanation about suppressing lines of code.

How can you make MatLab give a certain string output based on the input? For example, if the user inputs 12, how can I make it say "that is too many"?
