Hello Nico. Unfortunately I don't think so. I'm doing some other things with music (which I may feature on this channel soon), and much less marching percussion arranging. There are very few live streams of marching percussion arrangers. Maybe you start doing some? My time for this has passed however - thank you for your interest!

are you able to write more difficult music?

Able, yes - but my clients generally don't pay me to write complicated parts. I get paid 1. To deliver funky parts that sound good. 2. Deliver parts that can be learned quickly. 3. Deliver parts that are educationally sound and challenging for the kids who will get them. If this were for a competitive corps style client, I'd write harder stuff, but this client doesn't need quintuple paraddile flamsicles with a side of egg beaters. They just need the funk, so I deliver the funk. Good question!

@@paulegavin how much would you charge for a percussion only movement that is about 1:15 long, a small percussion section, not super difficult but can show off some talent, and features a difficult marimba duet?

@@paulegavin I am a young arranger, I am still in High School. However, I am asking because my school hired a percussion arranger yet the music wasn’t written to the ability requested. So I re-wrote all of the pit music (I am in Pit) and upped the difficulty but I don’t know how to change the percussion only movement. There was supposed to be a Marimba Duet between me and my friend m, but it was never written either
