I can 100% relate to not wanting to stop writing because you just got in the flow! That's one of the reasons I don't do writing sprints, I put a random 10 hours music video playing and just write until my brain feels like jelly 🙃

i decided to do nanowrimo for the first time this month only bc i started a short story for another contest but i just couldn’t stop writing this one character interaction at the beginning so i was like “why don’t i just turn this into a novel??” and then i found this video! im probs going to fail bc all i’ve ever written and completed is short stories and on top of that i am def not a planner at ALL like fully winging it but we will see at the end ig!

I KNOw im planning to TRY to finish the first draft before the end of the year so yeah... I can keep talking about how much i love this story. It's the perfect telling about loss and love, happiness and friendship and how healing can be difficult sometimes and we have to let go of the past to embrace the future .... :')

I've had a lot of stress about what my nano project would be, but I have one, despite me having doubt about many of the elements and plot. I just reached 5k today on day 2! Hopefully I continue with this progress and things clear up as I go along. Great work ana!!!!

Honestly i have the most boring project names before they get their offical title. For nano i actually just named it NaNoWriMo. I could also name it the hero and villain bc its kinda about that~ but that is also pretty flat 😂

Work life has kinda taken over, but just cause I'm not able to constantly do nano, I'm still working on my novel in someway. Like this week I've been trying to create concept art for my cover as well as rounding out the characters I've already written 10+ chapters with. Happy NaNowriMo! This is my first year participating and the first day was just awful for me. I already did a 1.5 hour long session but probably will try yours, just for more flow. Btw my project is currently titled Anastazia and the Angels of Shadows. It's a girlband made of demons and the mc is the quote on quote late addition to the band. Im so excited to write the things about the band and the world, but I'm stuck on chapter one and mc's background.

Happy nanowrimo!! I work better when I don't over plan, so I actually spent yesterday coming up my story on the fly and making a very rough outline LOL, but today I started working! Hey Ana, my project is called Dies irae, by the gregorian coral which was sang on the funerals in church during the medieval period, and since my book has a lot to do with murders i love that title sooo much. I actually finished first draft yesterday so i'm technically nano rebel cause i'm gonna start revising now. I like to listen to music that is mellow. Definitely Lofi or maybe worship instrumental. Nothing too busy or hyoer. LOL😂. But interestingly, I really like listening to the click of your keyboard. It seems strange but it is therapeutic. I wonder why. I should look up the scientific reason a clicking noise calms us. I follow another writer and I discovered I liked the keyboard you use. 🎉🎉🎉 Am I weird? I guess it is ASMR. Proud of you young lady l!!

Nah for nanowrimo I turned off my Grammarly just to focus. Once I finished my first chapter I just did a quick flash read, and half of the words were not english lol 😂

i say write a terrible first chapter and come back when you're done with the draft. first chapters or episodes or opening acts are supposed to sell your idea to your audience. pitching the idea of romance, adventure, tragedy. but, to start the actual creation, it needs to hook the author writing it. none of it needs to make sense. it just needs to make you want to write more
