They are absolutely incredible, but let's take the fact that Pentatonix has only 5 people into consideration. This group has many, many more. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Both are amazing.

I am a ptx fan girl (see my username😂) but these guys are absolutely amazing, the bass is amazing and so is the soloist. But cmon, there are a whole load of these guys, there’s five of pentatonix. You can’t compare them, that’s like comparing an army to a group of mercenaries, they both get the job done, just in very different ways. The army (the nor’easters in this case) achieve a great sound with numbers, a mercenaries (ptx) achieve a sound with singing five parts but making sure that the parts are so tight that it sounds amazing, having strong as fuck melodies and choosing their songs carefully to suit their style . It’s impossible to compare the two. If pentatonix were to compete with these guys singing this song they would get beat because it’s not their style. But I bet if these guys tried to sing “Sing” or “aha!” they would get beat easily. Two different sounds, don’t compare them
