Writing the Impact / Disadvantaged and COVID Statements for Medical and Health Professional Schools

Most health professional schools allow you to write an Impactful or Disadvantaged statement where you can include social, economic, and/or educational disadvantages. This is an opportunity to provide context to your story and show your ability to overcome barriers. An advisor will discuss what self identifying as a disadvantaged applicant means and how to go about writing this updated essay prompt.
An advisor will also overview the common COVID essay prompt and how to approach it.
