Where did you learn to write like this? Amazing job! I would like to learn as well.
@ASMRfountainpens9 ай бұрын
I mainly watch old documents from the 18th and 19th centuries, trying to draw inspiration from them. They wrote so well during that time 😌

@@ASMRfountainpens Amazing, would you consider making a sheet with all the letters, uppercase, lowercase, numbers and perhaps also even scan these writings you have? I'd love to print it out and practice myself!

@@SonoftheLivingGod7 I will maybe make a video about how to wite every letter. You can easily find it on Internet you can search something like "18th century penmanship" you'll have a lot of different writing styles and examples so you can learn different ways to form letters that you like :)

Is that a vintage Waterman 52?
@ASMRfountainpens6 ай бұрын
No I don't know what it is, it has been polished a lot I think and the only thing left is "YL" at the end of the branding so I don't know what brand it is. I only know it was made in the 1930's...

The flex and the feed ink flow in vintage pens seems to be the norm. Withstanding almost a 100 years is amazing. What a beautiful pen in this satisfying asmr

What is the exact type of paper that's being used in this video? (Edit: Ah, okay. It's from Rhodia. What exact type from their brand?) Also, what's your favorite paper (That doesn't have any grids) to write on with a fountain pen, and where can I buy it as well?
@ASMRfountainpens9 ай бұрын
It's Rhodia n°18 black A4 blank 80 g/m². I think my favorite is Rhodia but a lot of people like Tomoe River paper. On Tomoe River you'll get a thicker line and a lot of shading with inks (a little less with Rhodia but it's still very good). Tomoe River is very good but it's expensive :) Don't hesitate to try different papers because it also depends on what fountain pen you're writing with. Search on the Internet where to buy I can't help you I probably don't live in your country :)

Wow... what pen is that? is it a medium size or fine?
@ASMRfountainpens9 ай бұрын
It is a pen made in ebonite mottled from the 1930s and it is a fine nib :)
